After such a long time, I'm back to the Kpop game for the sake of possibly
the best boyband ever!!!!!

I've been a fan of Ryan Higa for a long time, and there was a time in my life, not so long a go, when I was crazy with Kpop and Kdrama series.

I'm not as crazy now though, I'm still listening to some of the songs which I think are good, but I don't specifically being a fans to a group. I don't keep update with the latest new group, sometimes I don't even know who the singer of a song I listen to.

But now, I'm back. I got really excited when Ryan Higa did a parody of Kpop boyband, the first single is "Dong Saya Dae" which means, "I want to take a shit" and it was hilarious! But I never thought there will be a second single of this beyond awesome group.

So, I'm proudly declaring that I'm a Kpooper! And no Korean Boyband will be complete without a chibified fanart. I googled it and I don't thing I see one, so here it is!

Happy New Year 2017! This is is my first artwork in 2017. It's been a while since the last princess I drew. Now I'm back with Elsa! She's not a princess though, she's a queen.

Today is my friends' wedding, and after I got home, I wanted to post our picture together to my path but then I realized that I don't have our picture together in my cellphone.

That's why to concgratulate them, instead of a picture I made this doodle.

Traditional Sweets

It's been a while since I updated this blog. Today, it will be a quick post. I made this illustration with simple vector. Kawai version of the traditional sweets of my country.

Pukis : Maybe my most favourite of all. It's something resemble a cake, a special pan is used to cook it and that's the cause of the unique shape. You can sprinkle some chocolate or cheese or both, on top of it.

Bolu Kukus : Steamed cupcake. Can be pink in color or white with some chocolate blot on top of it.

Klepon : a traditional rice cake from Java, Indonesia, and now popular in Indonesia and Malaysia. It is a boiled rice cake, stuffed with liquid gula jawa, and rolled in grated coconut

Sentiling : Cassava layered cake, it's chewy in texture and doesn't it look cute with the pink, cream and green color?

tsukiyo no monogatari

I did the same illustration a long time ago with watercolor, it was before I own a pen tablet. Now I redo it to kinda measure how long I have progressed. It's inspired by the song Tsukiyo no Monogatari by Domoto Koichi. Still my favourite song after all this time.

Once upon a winter time

December is here! Woohoo!

I've been always fond of December, I love the festivity, I love the chill, I don't have snow here for I live in a tropical country, but it's rain season now and the weather becomes a bit cool which I love (let's hope there will be no flood).

I looveee the Christmasy feeling in December. I often humming Christmas songs and one of my favourite is "Once Upon a Winter Time".

It's a song from one of Disney's Silly Symphony series which tell a story about a couple who reminiscing the past. In the winter time, they rode on a sleigh ride and they went to a frozen lake to skate. It's such a beautiful song and the story is really sweet and that's inspire me to make this illustration.

I've taken interest in makeup

So lately I havve taken interest in make up.
I always was a tomboy girl (I still am) who never really want to put on make up on my face, but I think it's time for me to learn a thing or two about beauty.

So, I learn from watching beauty guru on youtube and after I tried it I find it really interesting, like painting or coloring but instead on paper, you do it on your face.

And also, I learn about face structure better, where I should do shading, and where I should highlight which I found very useful in progressing my drawing skill.

This Snow White illustration was made with the intention to practicing what I have learnt from those beauty guru. I do her make up with the knowledge I got after practicing my make up.

I learnt how to become more beautiful and also progressing my skill. I still need to keep practicing both in drawing and make up though, but I'm glad that I can get two benefits out from my make up lesson.

My Little Dream

I have a little wish, that is to visit planetarium.
The cost to watch the show is fairly cheap, so it's not because of money that I'm unable to go. I went to it once with my friends, but at that time, the observatorium was closed due to the need of maintenance, so we can't watch the show.

Now, when I got a leave, I intended to come, but again, it was closed and it's unknown when it will be back in business because the projector machine has broken down and they need to renew a part of the machine which is quite expensive.

Mother of Dragon

This princess... no, KHALEESI is one of the most badass woman in fiction and also one of my most favourite woman character in fiction.

She is the Silver Hair Queen, The Queen of The Green Grass Sea, the wife of Khal Drogo,The Khaleesi of the Dothrakis, The Unburnt and The Mother of Dragon. She is Daenerys Targaryen or Daenerys Stormborn from Game of Thrones! Girl, how badass you can be to have Dragons as your children.

The Powhatan Princess

This time Disney Princess is the daughter of the Powhatan Tribe Chief, Pocahontas

I did this as requested by my friend. After knowing that I'm doing a series of Disney Princesses illustration, she asked me to make Pocahontas.

As for myself, Pocahontas is not my favourite, but I do love her long black hair when swayed by the wind.

Cendrillon

Not my favourite princess  but still. I love Disney Classic

I'm not really fond of Cinderella, but it seems she's everyone favourite princess.
It's not like that Cinderella is bad or anything, it's just that I like Snow White better than Cinderella.
And even though I'm kinda sad, but definitely Cinderella holds more popularity than my other favourite princess, Anastasia.

I'm  also dissapointed with how few the likes I received on instagram for Anastasia compared to Disney Princesses, and when I tried to search Anastasia, what I found was the character from the controversial movie fifty shades of grey, not the animated movie.

I wonder why Anastasia popularity is overshadowed by disney princesses, I think the movie is really great and I will choose to watch Anastasia any day over Frozen. Frozen is damn good, but I guess I'm not really a fan of Disney's 3D animated movies and also, for a classic lover like me, the story which they claimed based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen, is too distorted.

I wish Anastasia could get a live action remake too...

Anastasia

She's not a Disney Princess, but nonetheless she's as gorgeous as other Disney Princesses.

Anastasia is one of my all time favourite animated movie. People often mistaken her as a Disney princess, she's actually produced by 21 Fox Century.

Princess Anastasia Romanov was actually existed in real life, she's the daughter of Tsar Nicholas of Russia. The movie is awesome and has a happy ending. Unfortunately, that's not the way it is in real life, she was missing when there's a rebellion while all of her family are dead. For many years, there were speculations of what happened to the missing princess, there even was a woman who claimed herself as the missing princess although later, it was known that she was a fake.

Not so long ago, there was a discovery of the royal families bones, and Anastasia's bones were among of them. So the princess never was rescued by a kitchen boy whom later in the movie, will become her lover. She never met her grandmother and runaway with her lover.

But at least, her happy ending exist in the movie, and the movie is a really good one too.
I absolutely love her dresses in the movie, the blue one which she wore to the theater to watch ballet is absolutely fabulous, but my favourite is still the sparkly yellow one!

Briar rose

Aside from Snow White, Aurora is my favourite princess

This is Aurora or Briar Rose as the three fairies call her.
I guess of all the Disney Princess (Classic, I decide that I will exclude Elsa, Tiana and Rapunzel) she has the best luck. Sure she has to hide and grow up as a peasant girl away from her parents, but as far as I know, the three fairies raise her with such compassion. Unlike cinderella or snow white, she wasn't treated as a slave and pretty much live happily even before she met Prince Phillip.

Oh, and also I think Prince Phillip is my most favourite prince of all. He's handsome, dashing and also brave and strong while Prince Florian (Snow White) only woo Snow White by singing and kiss her while she's asleep, the job of eliminating evil queen pretty much done by the dwarfs and Cinderella's prince (I forgot his name) can't even choose a wife by himself and need his father arrange him a ball to meet girls.

Sure Prince Phillip need help from the fairies to defeat the dragon, but hey, he still faced it himself.

So yeah, maybe she's the most envious Disney Princess. She leads the perfect life!

Snow white

With all the hype of Cinderella, in the spirit of disney princess, I created this.

Yes, it's not cinderella, instead, it's Snow White!
I'm not particularly a fan of Cinderella, yeah, I like the story but again, I dig any fairy tale.
But I love Snow White, I've always been ever since I was a child.  After I grew up I notice that she's kinda stupid, but I can't not like her.

There are already so many live action adaptations from Snow White, but they're not from Disney. And I can't tell how much my heart ache when I learned that my favourite princess was played by Kristen Stewart. Oh how I detest it, I can't bring myself to watch that silly vampire girl became my favourite princess although Charlize Theron was fabulous as the evil queen.

I'm hoping that one day Snow White can get a Disney Live action movie and that it will be better than Cinderella.

Cinderella movie wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good. It's just bland, I'm not really impressed by the movie except for all the fabulous dresses.

What does the fox say?

Happy weekend everybody! It's been a while since I've been posted anything with vector. I use adobe illustrator all the time at work, but I just don't use it as much when I want to do illustration for fun.

But somehow I feel the need to make an illustration with cute fox, and I think it would look really good if I make it with vector. So here it is! They're cute aren't they?

Oh, I think I just realize why did I reminded and wanted to make fox illustration all of sudden. A couple days ago I watch a video with the song "What Does The Fox Say". Speaking about the song, I never really think about it before but that song makes sense. Yes, I heard the sound of dog, cat, cow and many other animals. But I never heard the sound of a fox. I wonder what kind of noise do they make
