I remember when I was a child, my Grandmother (RIP) told me this folklore as my bedtime story. I often asked my late Grandmother to tell me stories, from folklore to foreign fairy tales before I go to sleep. She knew a lot of folklore, and I always enjoyed her stories. I guess that's what make me really fond of fairy tales.
I tried to do a different style to draw the princess from the story, here is Princess Dewi Chandra Kirana, The Golden Snail Princess
Every time I read folklore, it always brings me back to the memory of when I was still little, lying in bed with my grandmother beside me telling me bed time stories. Oh.. how I miss her...
